About me
Goldie Harris is a music executive, strategist, DJ, and educator currently serving as Director of Streaming & Commerce at EMPIRE, where she helps shape streaming strategy and commerce outcomes for artists across all genres. At EMPIRE, Goldie works closely with internal teams and DSP partners to drive discovery, digital revenue, and culture-forward campaigns, supporting artists including Shaboozey, Destin Conrad, overtonight, T.I, Wizkid, Asake, Blueface, and Chow Lee, among others.
Prior to EMPIRE, Goldie served as Director of Commerce at UnitedMasters, where she empowered independent artists by building and nurturing key DSP relationships with Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, and Amazon. Her work focused on strategic visibility, performance-driven marketing, and sustainable artist growth, with a career rooted in ownership-forward and equity-based frameworks within the music industry.
In addition to her industry leadership, Goldie is the Internship Coordinator for the Music Department at Hofstra University, where she oversees internship placement, evaluation, and career advising for students pursuing roles across the music and entertainment ecosystem. Through her teaching and mentorship, she is dedicated to helping students translate academic learning into real-world skills, professional confidence, and long-term career clarity. Across every role, Goldie’s mission remains the same: to demystify the music industry, champion artist-first strategy, and build transparent, accessible pathways for the next generation of music professionals.
